Name: Susan Blair
Quiver: Borrowed __________
Birthday/Age: 6-1-56 (53)
Occupation: Bank of the Ozarks
Favorite Trails: Wide, flat, open, but I’m
gaining confidence in taking on the rocks.
Favorite Race: My favorite race will be the one I win! Better yet if there are actually others in the AG.
Best Finish: Haven’t mountain bike raced yet, but have I mentioned I’m an Ironman (IMKY 2008).
Favorite Riding Food: Hammer Gel, Lara Bars.
Riding Goals: Have fun, win my age group, score points for the team, and no injuries.
Why do you ride: A new adventure since I’ve done marathons, triathlons
including an Ironman, and an adventure racing.
What kind of advice would you give to beginner riders: If I can do this so can you!
Worst wipeout: Raid the Rock Adventure Race 2007. First time on the bike,
muddy, steep, rocky, sliding all over the trail, got thrown under a large briar patch, wedging myself and the bike in a big
mess of thorny brush. Vines locked around the drive train, clothes stuck to the briars, it took two guys to pull me and the
bike out. All I could do was laugh and wish I had it on video.
